Security Lights

An REMC representative will meet with you for a security light pole-set consultation. If we set the pole, there will be an initial $150 fee, and a monthly fee that will be added to your electric bill, based on the rate table below. Upon payment of the fees, the REMC will be responsible for maintaining the pole and light.

175 watt - $9.72 per month

100 watt - $9.72 per month

400 watt - $22.18 per month

FSL - $31.97 per month

1000 Watt - $34.79 per month

Hoosier Energy Power Tracker

Power tracker charge is in direct proportion to the cost that our power supplier, Hoosier Energy, pays for the purchase of additional kWh needed to fulfill everyone’s request for electricity. During peak times or when a generating station is down for repair or maintenance, it may cause Hoosier Energy to have to purchase kWh on the open market. On an open market the cost of kWh may vary dramatically, therefore enforcing a mechanism to recoup this cost for the previous year. The Power Tracker rate varies per kWh.
