Water Heater Rebates

If you are a Daviess-Martin REMC customer who is installing an electric water heater in a new home construction or replacing a gas water heater with an electric one, you may be eligible to receive a rebate up to $100 if you have already completed the installation. Just print out the rebate request form, complete it and return it along with a copy of your sales receipt to the Daviess-Martin County REMC office. (The deadline for application submission is Dec. 1, 2007.)

Heat pumps are the most popular way to heat and cool because one piece of equipment does it all. It operates entirely by electricity and offers a high level of comfort and efficiency at low costs.

Rebates for $150 are available to Daviess-Martin County REMC customers who install a heat pump in a new home construction or install one as a replacement for an oil or gas furnace. Just print out the rebate request form, complete it and return it to our office. (The deadline for application submission is Dec. 1, 2007.)

Geothermal Heat Pumps

Geothermal heat pumps are the ultimate comfort machine. No system is more efficient or cheaper to operate than the technologically advanced geothermal heat pump system. Together, earth-stored energy and clean, safe electricity offer an efficient and economical way to maintain comfortable heating and cooling year round.

Rebates of $150 are available to Daviess-Martin County REMC customers who install a Geothermal system in their home. Just print out the rebate request form, complete the information and return it to our office. (The deadline for application submission is Dec. 1, 2007.)

Electric Thermal Storage (ETS)

Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) is a clean, safe, comfortable, and reliable method of heating a home or office. ETS room heating units store heat when the Daviess-Martin County REMC electric load is reduced and electricity is even more economical. The ETS heating unit comes in many sizes and the rebate is based on $30 per kW. (The deadline for application submission is Dec. 1, 2007.)
