Tree Trimming

If you see trees or brushes growing in or near power lines, please contact the Daviess-Martin County REMC office to report the issue. Our professional vegetation‑management contractors will address the problem to help maintain reliable service, especially during storms, and to keep you safe.

Never attempt to trim or remove vegetation near electrical lines. Always let trained experts handle it. Your safety is our priority.

Rights of Way

The REMC maintains rights‑of‑way to access the Cooperative’s electric lines located on private property. Keeping these areas properly cleared and accessible allows us to respond quickly to service issues and deliver the high level of reliability our members depend on.

Properly Cleared Right-of-Way

A properly cleared right‑of‑way provides enough space for REMC vehicles, employees, and contractors to safely access and maintain the electric lines.

Improperly Cleared Right-of-Way

An improperly cleared right‑of‑way makes it difficult for REMC vehicles, employees, and contractors to access electric lines for installation, maintenance, and repairs.
