Applications for 2027 Camp Kilowatt Open Nov. 2

Daviess-Martin County REMC is accepting applications for Camp Kilowatt! Sixth-grade students entering seventh grade in the fall of 2027 are eligible to apply for this fun-filled summer experience.

Camp Kilowatt is a three-night, four-day, all-expenses-paid camp hosted at Happy Hollow Children’s Camp in Nashville, Indiana. The camp will take place July 7-10, 2027, giving students the chance to learn about the electric cooperative industry and electricity, try new activities and, of course, make plenty of new friends.

The camp committee puts together a well-rounded schedule that combines learning with summer fun. Students can look forward to activities such as a live-line demonstration, circuit boards, canoeing, archery and more!

The 2027 Camp Kilowatt application will open on November 2, 2026. All applications must be submitted by April 30, 2027.

Students will be selected based on applications submitted to Daviess-Martin County REMC. Applicants must be in sixth grade at the time of application and entering seventh grade in the fall of 2027. Students must also have transportation to and from Happy Hollow Children’s Camp in Nashville, Indiana.

Homeschooled students are also eligible to apply.
